Peer education and inclusion in Day Care Center for children with disabilities in Cajetina

Workshop with volunteers and beneficiaries was carried out in the Day Care Center for children with disabilities in Čajetina, on 23rd February.

These workshops are part of the project Support to inclusive education and training for the everyday life of children and young people with disabilities, which is being conducted as part of cross-border cooperation between Serbia and Montenegro. Earlier this year, volunteers from Uzice and Cajetina started working with students of special school "Miodrag V. Matic "in Uzice and with users of Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities" Ray "in Čajetina, as envisaged by the project.

These workshops, where volunteers work with beneficiaries, aim to develop and encourage the inclusion and peer education, which is one of the objectives of the project implemented under the motto: Education without borders.

The project envisages to organize a workshop with volunteers every week, and according to  Zorica Milosavljević, assistant on the project and the president of Association  Zlatibor Circle, these workshops will continue even after the end of the project.
